My adventure started the day I arrived at Grand Valley State University. With a new life and an open book of choices, I was able to create an adventure of my own. After joining Sigma Sigma Sigma, I learned leadership and communication skills that I dreamed of obtaining. Being a founding member of Tri Sigma, I had taken on two officer positions as Education Director and Vice President of New Member Education within my 4 years of membership. Along with this, I have been head of multiple committees. Beyond this, I have become involved in the Grand Valley student community. Being a member of the Pals Student Mentors program has given me the chance to bond with a 7 year old girl. I love to volunteer with Make A Wish of West Michigan as a wish granter and with their special events. I am currently working toward my masters degree in Communications.

Besides just being involved in school, I am involved in the professional world as well. I have completed an internship with Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore as a public relations/fund development assistant and interned at a construction company assisting in marketing. In the past, I have worked various part time jobs including a coffee shop for roughly 3 years. I recently worked as an office administrator assisting with scheduling and advertising and currently continue my position as a tasting room attendant at a winery.

Along with on and off campus adventures, I seek to travel the world and take my scuba diving skills into the Great Barrier Reef. My aspiration is to become a contestant on the reality television show, Survivor. I am passioante about volunteering, education, and ethics.
